New CD Release – Missa Faulte d’argent & Motets
The Brabant Ensemble returns to the music of Jean Mouton, subject of a previous recording in 2011. Mouton died on 30 October 1522, so his quincentenary year is an appropriate time to revisit this under-recorded composer. With the exception of one Mass movement, the entire programme consists of première recordings.
