New CD Release – Josquin: Motets & Mass movements
The Brabant Ensemble celebrates the quincentenary of the great Josquin Desprez (c.1450-1521) with a new recording of motets and Mass movements. The release features the previously unrecorded Gloria de beata Virgine and Sanctus de Passione, as well as reworkings of two motets (O bone et dulcissime Jesu and Stabat mater) also new to disc, alongside other rarities. Release date 29 January 2021.
